Wedding entertainment is moving away from a DJ-only model. The couples we book this year are programming entertainment in three layers: ambient, headline, and finale.

Ambient entertainment runs during cocktail hour. Cocktail bubbles, a slow fire fan walkabout outside, or a magician working the room — quiet, beautiful, and high-touch.

Headline entertainment is a single moment, usually right after dinner. A choreographed hoop show, a fire show under the stars, or a surprise specialty performer reveal that gets everyone back on their phones.

Finale entertainment is the send-off. Stilt walkers walking the couple out, a sparkler exit choreographed to the DJ's last track, or a themed specialty act. The trend underneath all of it: entertainment that turns into shareable content.
